So they said they would send maintenance up (oh great another wait). then they offered us an upgrade-we refused we were already unpacked and settled in. We called the front desk-they offered as another room-but that room had the same AC problems. When we came back the next day (we spent a night at the grand canyon) nothing had changed. We noted this to housekeeping and she said she would call maintanenance. the first night our AC didnt work at all, the room was so warm when we got up. 15 mins later a bellman comes casually walking (in no rush) and gave us our keys-then stood there expecting tip-um dont think so it just took me almost an hour to get in my room I wasnt tipping anyone. She said she would send keys up right away.30mins later still no one so we called again, and again were told that someone would right up stay infront of the room.
we tried and tried and then used the hallway phone to call the desk. Check-in- went fairly smooth until we got up to our room and our keys wouldnt work. Stayed at the Nugget for 6 days last week and my review is mixed.
